Provide 1

Photo ID

  • Current signed passport (UK or international)
  • Current UK or EEA photocard driving licence (full or provisional)
  • National identity card with photo (EEA/Swiss nationals)
  • Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) or Home Office immigration status document
  • HM Armed Forces Identity Card

Proof of address

  • Utility bill: gas, electricity, water or landline phone (not mobile phone bills)
  • Local authority council tax bill for the current council tax year
  • Bank, building society or credit union statement or passbook
  • Mortgage statement from a recognised lender, issued within the last 12 months
  • HMRC self-assessment letter or tax demand for the current financial year
  • Current tenancy agreement, or council or housing association rent card

If you use your driving licence as photo ID, you generally can't use it as proof of address as well. Documents must be clear, in colour and show all four corners. We accept JPG, PNG and PDF files up to 10 MB each.
